Jordan Spieth will be looking to complete a career grand slam at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club.
Spieth won The Open at Royal Birkdale in July, adding to his victories in the US Open and the Masters.
Now the 23-year-old, the second player after Jack Nicklaus to win three of golf's four majors before the age of 24, is targeting glory in the final major of the year.
If successful, he will become only the sixth player in history to complete a career grand slam, joining Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Gary Player, Ben Hogan and Gene Sarazen.
The 2015 PGA Championship runner-up will begin the tournament as one of the favourites, alongside two-time winner Rory McIlroy who returned to form at Royal Birkdale to finish tied for fourth.
US Open champion Brooks Koepka continued his good form as he tied for sixth, whilst compatriot Matt Kuchar will be looking to finish one better in North Carolina as he was pipped to the Claret Jug by Spieth.
England’s Paul Casey and Ian Poulter produced some excellent golf at The Open and they will be looking to be in contention at Quail Hollow, whilst fellow countryman Tommy Fleetwood can’t be discounted after his victory in the Open de France last month.
Jimmy Walker will arrive at the final major of the year looking to defend the title he dramatically won ahead of Jason Day, who in turn had won the tournament the previous year.
